I like your photographs of the church today. I like the roof too. The roof is metal I am guessing and they are just beginning to do that here where I live. It was done many years ago and was called a "tin" roof and would last about 50 years. Then the tornadoes would rip them off so they stopped using tin. Now they are using a heavy aluminum that is painted a green or wine color and some a kind of copper color. They look nice now like your church.

Beautiful old, old church. I cannot imagine a building that is centuries old.
